The Challenge
A wholesale jeweller processed orders manually and updated customers by hand, which produced both delays and miscommunication. Because they sell to retailers rather than the public, the platform also had to be genuinely gated — only approved accounts could see the catalogue or place an order.
Two things made it harder: the inventory changes constantly, so the catalogue could not be static; and clients expected updates in real time rather than when someone got round to sending them.
What We Built
An order management system on Bubble.io with approved-user access control, integrated with the WhatsApp API so order status updates send themselves. The build includes inventory management, order tracking, and a communication path that works for both retailers and back-office staff.
Elastic Email handles transactional notifications alongside WhatsApp, and the API layer was tested through Postman before going live.

The Results
30% faster order processing with direct client communication, and a 50% drop in inbound client enquiries — because customers no longer had to ask where their order was. Inventory tracking now runs against a catalogue that stays current.
