In short

Extend places a named SBD specialist on your team: an Airtable, SmartSuite, Retool, Bubble, Make, n8n or custom-code developer who works inside your tools and your meetings. Priced from $400 to $1,000 a day by platform, booked in prepaid blocks of 40, 80 or 160 hours that roll over. The first two weeks are paid only if you are satisfied, and a replacement clause is written into the agreement.

Is this you?

If three of these sound like your week, an extended team is the place to start.

  • Your roadmap has automation work your team has no time for
  • You need n8n, Supabase or AI skills for months, not years
  • A contractor left and nobody can maintain what they built
  • Hiring a full-time specialist would take a quarter
  • You want senior review on work your team is doing

What this is not

So the scope is clear before the call.

  • Anonymous staff augmentation. You get a named person, not a rotating seat.
  • Work without a lead on your side. Someone in your team sets priorities.

How it runs

Extend, step by step.

  1. 1Match

You tell us the platform, the work and the hours. We propose a named specialist with their recent work.

  2. 2Weeks 1 to 2

The specialist joins your tools and your standups. If it is not working, you do not pay for these two weeks.

  3. 3Ongoing

Hours drawn from your block, reported weekly. Unused hours roll over. Replacement on request.

What you get

  • A named specialist with stated overlap hours
  • Weekly hours report
  • Handover notes when the engagement ends

How we know it is done

  • The specialist works in your tools and your rituals, not ours
  • Hours are reported weekly and match the block

What you own

  • Everything the specialist builds, in your accounts
  • Unused hours, rolled over
  • The right to stop at the end of any block

Customer stories.

“An embedded specialist should be indistinguishable from a good hire, except that you can stop next month.”

Pranav Mahaveer, Founder

How it starts

Every project starts with an audit.

One to two weeks with the people who do the work. A costed blueprint in order of payback. The $500 is credited in full to the build.

  • Audit1 to 2 weeks. $500, credited to your build.
  • BlueprintIncluded in the audit’s second week. Included with the Audit; quoted separately for multi-phase programmes.
  • Build2 to 8 weeks. From $2,500 one-time; most builds $5,000 to $15,000.
  • Run60 days of hypercare, then monthly. Hypercare included; care plans from $1,000/month.

Questions

What people ask about an extended team.

Which platforms?

Airtable, SmartSuite, Retool, Bubble, Softr, Make, n8n, Zapier, and custom code in TypeScript and Python. Ask about others.

What hours do they work?

Overlap hours are agreed in writing before the start and stated on the engagement. Most clients get at least four hours of overlap with their working day.

What if the specialist is not a fit?

Say so in the first two weeks and you do not pay for them. After that, a replacement is provided on request.

Can we convert a block into a full build?

Yes. Hours already used count toward a fixed-price sprint if the work is scoped as one, and the specialist usually carries on as part of that team.

Who owns the code, the workflows and the accounts?

You do, from the first sprint. Every tool, automation and database lives in accounts in your name. Code sits in your repository. Documentation is part of the deliverable. If you stop working with us, everything keeps running.

Thirty minutes. Bring the work your team still does by hand. You leave with a yes or no on fit and the first thing we would build.
